Understanding Analysis Health
-
If you already have lab data — a Function Health or Superpower panel, are a member of another membership, have doctor-ordered bloodwork, or have results scattered across providers — yes.
Analysis Health is built for interpretation that comes after testing: turning your data into a prioritized plan. If you don’t yet have lab data, seek one of the direct-to-consumer providers listed above or reach out to your doctor.
-
Three differences.
First, our analysis runs through multiple AI models comparing the same data; only findings that hold across them become the structure of your report. A single AI model gives you whatever it generates the first time.
Second, our framework shapes your analysis — it tells it what to flag, what to weigh, when to express uncertainty — built specifically for lab interpretation, not adapted from general health knowledge.
Third, you receive a structured deliverable: an Insight Report, a prioritized Action Plan, and a Personal AI Companion that has your full analysis pre-loaded for follow-up questions. It’s an analysis system, not a chat.
-
No. Analysis Health is self-service. Upload your data, and the analysis runs.
-
Recent bloodwork from the last 12 months — a multi-marker panel, not a single test. A standard comprehensive panel from Function Health, Superpower, or a full doctor-ordered workup qualifies.
Specialty tests — DUTCH, GI-MAP, Viome, genetics, and similar — strengthen your analysis significantly when included alongside the foundational panel.
If you’re unsure whether you have enough, See If My Data Is Enough walks through the depth of what each kind of data reaches.
-
Yes. The analysis runs automatically the moment your data is submitted, and labs cannot be added after. Wait until you have everything you want analyzed before submitting.
-
No. The analysis runs automatically once submitted, so all data has to be uploaded together.
-
Not currently. A re-analysis option is on our roadmap for a future release. Until then, each Analysis Health purchase is a single-point-in-time read.
Data & Eligibility.
What to Know About Getting Your Data to Us
-
Lab data from any U.S.-based provider. The most common sources our customers bring are Function Health, Superpower, and doctor-ordered bloodwork. Specialty tests — DUTCH, GI-MAP, Viome, genetic panels, and similar targeted assessments — are very much welcomed.
Specialty data takes the analysis deeper, surfacing patterns that a foundational panel alone wouldn’t show.
-
PDF reports, dashboard exports, screenshots of online results, or manually entered values when no file exists.
-
Within the last 12 months is best. Older labs still work, but our data-sufficiency check will flag them, and you can choose to proceed with the older data or pause to get something more current first.
-
Not currently. Wearable data tracks continuous metrics — sleep, heart rate, movement over time — which is a different kind of data than lab markers from a specific blood draw. Our analysis is built for lab interpretation. Wearable integration may come in a future release.
-
The data-sufficiency check runs right after you submit. It looks for legibility and completeness across what you’ve uploaded.
If something is hard to read or appears to be missing, you’ll be notified before the analysis runs — from there, you can re-upload a clearer file, add what’s missing, or proceed with what you’ve submitted.
-
Yes. Analysis Health is for U.S.-based customers age 18 or older. We currently process lab data in English only.
Process and Deliverables.
What Happens After Purchase
-
Within 24 hours of submission, although most analyses run faster than that. In cases where the data-sufficiency check needs your attention, the full analysis is processed after receiving your decision to get more testing or proceed as is.
-
The Insight Report explains what your data shows — patterns across markers, focus areas to address first, symptoms tied to what’s measurable, and a consensus review of what’s most certain versus what’s tentative. It closes with a summary you can share with your doctor.
The Action Plan turns that into a phased strategy with specific recommendations: nutrition, supplements, lifestyle adjustments, an implementation timeline, and follow-up testing where it would deepen the analysis. See Your Report for the full breakdown.
-
A personal AI built on your specific data. Once your analysis is delivered, your Personal AI Companion has it all pre-loaded — your Insight Report, your Action Plan, and the hundreds of pages of analytical content that built them. The Companion draws on that depth and broader health knowledge to answer your specific questions. See Your Report for the full description.
-
Yes — your Personal AI Companion is the place for follow-up. It has your full analysis loaded and is built to answer questions about your specific data, how to implement your Action Plan, and broader health topics in the context of your case. There’s no time limit on access while your data is in our system.
-
Yes. Your report is delivered as PDFs you can share with anyone you choose — your doctor, family, other practitioners. Commercial redistribution and use as a template for someone else are not permitted, since the analysis is specific to the data you submitted.
-
By email. Your Insight Report and Action Plan arrive as two separate PDFs, with a secure link to your Personal AI Companion included in the same delivery email.
Recommendations.
Supplements & Follow-up Testing
-
No. Prescriptions require a clinician, and Analysis Health doesn’t have that authority. Supplements named in your Action Plan are recommendations tied to what your data shows. Whether to take them is your choice — ideally in conversation with your doctor.
-
No. Supplements in your Action Plan are recommendations, not requirements — your choice of brand or vendor is open. Look for items that match the active ingredient and dosage of what’s recommended.
-
We recommend more testing when additional data would deepen your analysis. The reports include a Follow-Up Testing section that names which markers, panels, or specialty tests would help clarify a finding, confirm a pattern, or expand the picture. These are suggestions framed around what would strengthen your read — not a requirement to buy more tests.
-
Sometimes. In some cases, Analysis Health uses affiliate links for some supplement and lab provider recommendations — when you purchase through one, we may earn a commission at no additional cost to you. The relationships don’t influence what gets recommended; recommendations are based on your data and our analytical framework, not affiliate considerations. Disclosure appears at the report level and in our separate affiliate policy.

Our Policies and Account Help
-
One-time payment of $99. No subscription is required.
-
Not currently. HSA and FSA payment is on our roadmap. Insurance is not accepted.
-
Your data is encrypted at rest. It’s never shared with third parties and never used to train external AI models. We retain your data indefinitely so your Personal AI Companion remains useful over time — you can request deletion at any time.
-
Email support for technical issues — file uploads, account access, payment problems. We aim to respond within two business days. Content questions about your analysis itself go through your Personal AI Companion.
-
Our reports are non-refundable. Once submitted, the analysis runs automatically and carries real cost from the moment it begins. The data-sufficiency check runs first — if something is off, you can pause before the analysis proceeds.
Boundaries of Service.
The Scope of Analysis Health
-
No. Analysis Health is an interpretation service: we read your lab data, surface patterns, and prioritize what to address. We don’t apply diagnostic labels. Your report names what your data shows.
-
No. Treatment and prescriptions both require a clinician with prescribing authority. Analysis Health doesn’t have that authority, nor does it create treatment plans. Your Action Plan recommends supplements, dietary changes, and lifestyle adjustments — these are interpretive recommendations based on your data, not prescriptions. For prescription medications or formal treatment, your doctor is the right partner.
-
No. Analysis Health is a fully automated service — no clinician consultation is included. The analysis runs through our multi-stage AI framework, and the results are delivered as a report. Your Personal AI Companion handles follow-up questions, but it’s an AI, not a clinician. If you want to discuss your results clinically, your doctor is the right place.
-
No. Analysis Health is built to work alongside medical care, not in place of it. Doctors do work that nothing else can replace — clinical examination, diagnosis, treatment, the ongoing relationship of a certified care provider. Our work sits in a different layer: turning the data you already have into something organized and actionable. The two are meant to complement each other; Analysis Health makes you more prepared for medical conversations in the future.
-
Whenever it’s useful to you. The Insight Report includes a summary specifically designed for sharing with your doctor — it surfaces the headline findings, named markers, and questions worth raising. Bring it to a routine visit, a specialist consult, or a check-in if you’ve made changes you want assessed. The report is built to make those conversations more productive, not to substitute for them.
-
A lab test measures specific markers in your blood, urine, saliva or stool — it’s the raw data. Analysis Health takes that data and turns it into interpretation: what the markers mean together, what patterns they form, what to address first. The lab gives you numbers. Analysis Health gives you what the numbers say when read all together.
-
When the analysis surfaces a finding that warrants medical attention, your report names it explicitly — with clear language indicating that the finding should be discussed with a clinician promptly. Critical findings aren’t buried in the report; they’re highlighted distinctly so they’re impossible to miss. The report can also be shared directly with your doctor for follow-up.
